Range Resources Corporation is an independent producer of natural gas, natural gas liquids and oil in the United States that conducts exploration, development and property acquisitions. As of December 31, 2021, it owned about 1,350 net producing wells and roughly 794,000 net acres in the Appalachian region, and it sells hydrocarbons to utilities, midstream and marketing firms, industrial and petrochemical users, and refiners. Founded in 1976 and renamed Range Resources in 1998, the company is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
